Slim to none. I'm a Republican and so far I'm planning on sitting this election cycle out. Of course, that might change if the Republican party manages to find a conservative candidate for me to vote for...

Either way you look at it, somebody is going to lie to us about something and almost always they won't follow through on their promises.

I dunno. If the dems put a woman out there as their candidate I would say the republican chances are pretty good. When most of the major hotspots we are dealing with in the world are in Islamic nations, I think putting a woman in the White House would just make us more of a target, and she would be ignored by the hardline Moslems. While people are ready for alot of change, I am not sure that is a change America would be ready for just yet. Personally I wish Joe Lieberman had run for president instead of Vice President. As a republican, I can firmly say that I would vote for that "independant democrat" any day of the week!

I don't see that as a realistic scenario, and I doubt very much that any Republican candidate would have a chance to win in 2008.

If I was a bettin' man, I'd put money on the Democrats. Of course, we all said there was NO WAY IN HELL Bush could end up in the White House...much less re-elected.

Pretty good. All Obama and Clinton are doing is bitching at each other. It will be closer than people think.

It doesn't look too good for the the GOP now, but I think when people start realizing a Dem in the White House means a possibly liberal Supreme Court, the numbers are going to change.
