Help answer this question below.

No hot air from heater or defrost.-2001 Jeep grand Cherokee 6cyl. Just replaced thermostat. Fluid smells bad.

    The other thing you want to check is the blend door. It is common for these doors to break and when this happens you loose control over air flow through the heater core. Check the HeaterTreater Ebay listings or web site at www.heatertreater.net for diagnostic information and a fix for this particular problem.

    go to www.wjjeeps.com, and check for this same symptom...it seems like it is a very common problem on these trucks. I have it, and it is going to cost me some buck$$$. Let me know how it goes. good spending...I mean good luck.
