I think it is very comforting and relaxing. I also find it unfortunate that its name is associated with a philosophical and religious movement. As music, I like it.

This might be paranoia talking, but I'm always thinking that New Age music has messages to take over my mind. That is maybe why I stay away from it.

I don't enjoy it, really. Give me oldies, hymns, ballads, folk songs, some country, some disco (but not tons of it- just a few fun songs I enjoy).

I enjoy it. It's very relaxing. I have most of Cusco's albums and I listen to them a lot!

I personally enjoy all new age music when I want to fall asleep. I am a bit more picky leaning towards Venessa Mae and Bond music when I want to study. http://pandora.com/ Is a nice radio to pick and choose the type of music you might be looking for based on 'music attributes'.

Its really the only genre that is still actually making its own music. Everybody else either just wants to do a re-make of someone else's music or try to bluff you into thinking the noise they make is really music.

I find, some of it, very relaxing. I especially enjoy Enya and Loreena McKennitt.
