WTF is wrong with some parents? In a restaurant in Hawaii I saw a 4 year old girl destroy a table+other patrons' dinners. also-The high chair that was given to her was 'too cold!' (in hawaii?).She demanded+got another. Princess? In for a big shock 1 day?

most parents arent really parents any more. they dont take the time to raise there kids or to disapline them. deffinetly in for a big shock one day.

I think it should be a requirment for people to have education teaching them parenting skills. People in so many communities and cultures are encouraged to have children...the result of this is we have young, irresponsible people having children. I see this alot where i am currently living (utah)so many people having children without a clue as to the responsibility involved. It socially irresponsible in my opinion.

I think a lot of people have gotten lazy when it comes to parenting. don't get me wrong, there are still a lot of people who teach their kids how to behave and teach them manners. but some parents have gotten really lazy and spoil or "bribe" their child to get them to behave, instead of just teaching them how to behave in the first place. If people have to get a license to drive, why not a license to parent? some people have no business having kids.

I have 4 boys, the oldest is 5yrs old. I am old fashioned when it comes to disipline. I believe in spanking a child if they need it, and I bet my kids dont act up like that in public either. But nowdays it is hard to disipline a child in public, because you're scared someone will turn you in to the DCF.
