  • Surely the Iranian President would not try to deceive the whole world??????????????
  • Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has always maintained that Iran's nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, such as the generation of energy for civilian use. I believe him. He knows very well that the world doesn't have an endless supply of fossil fuel. For his country to survive, it has to look for alternative sources of energy. But I think there's more to that program than meets the eye. The development of nuclear weapons could be a part of that prgram. After all, it's very near Pakistan and India, both of which are nuclear powers.
  • Why should he lie? LOL :-)
  • With Iran's stellar track record on being peaceful with it's neighbors,(lol) and with their lunatic president already declaring Israel should be wiped off the face of the earth, I don't think it matters at all what the maniac says, nobody should be put at risk just to see if he is lying or not. Iran should be stopped at any cost from obtaining Nukes. We don't need a more powerful and more dangerous North Korea on our hands. Think what Kim JOng Il would do if he could shut down the flow of oil to the world, and then imagine Iran which has the will to actually carry out their doomsday ideas.
  • this is a hot question that I already got my neck boiled in more than once already. Although I do believe Mahmoud's true intentions of economic growth and I can see how nuclear power can truly increase Iranian industrialization and economic growth incredibly. I do agree that they are the USA of the middle east in many ways. Iran is a powerful cat that sprawls across two major seas just like the US does. Afghanistan is the Mexico of Iran, and I suppose it has no Canada though, leaving it rather dry. This country's current missile payload system cannot reach Israel. I hear talk of China and whatnot but we are dealing with a country with 10 times the cultural heritage of the USA in the modern age so they have had more time to refine their civilization than some rough riding unpredictable Texan with the IQ of a cantaloupe. I fear the indecision of my own illegitimate president than the decisions of some appointed man who should never have been elected as leader of Iran. Can you say Arggggghhhhhh!!!!! It just totally sucks. Let's hope that the right person gets elected in 2008; that is the burning question that the world must ask as to who will get selected. No more joke presidents. It's not funny. + more in the future.
