  • For sure it is illegal. But that doesn't imply that it is unethical. If you break a law you have to face the consequences. That doesn't necessarily mean that you have to have a bad conscience. In the discussed case there is no harm done to anybody. Furthermore there is no sound ethical justification of copyrights. The derivation from the Lockian property stands on shaky grounds. Thus don't have a bad conscience, but be ready to face the legal consequences.
