  • It would be my honor. I can't tell you how much my wife and I admired him and his infectious enthusiasm and passion for wildlife and the environment in general. He was an 'original' and his work helped change the world's perception of the mostly reviled and incredibly misunderstood 'reptile', in all it's forms. If there is a heaven, he sits at God's side. I've no doubt about that.
  • He came across as a lovely and caring man and it was a sad day when he died,i think its a great idea to have a statue put up in his memory.
  • I'll probably do something to commemorate his life and his work, but I don't think I'll put the whole day to it.
  • I'll think about him and send a prayer out to his wife, daughter, and the rest of his family and friends.
  • i really don't care about him at all. its the family and relatives i feel sorry for. you have some guy go out, wrestle alligators trying in some sense to get himelf killed or he knows he's going to be killed eventually, then he goes and expects nothing to happen and steps ona stingray getting himself killed. in my opinion, he desrved it, he was asking for it, no i will not celebrate. if you were to ask me... he was pretty stupid, he could have found other ways of helping wildlife. in many ways he had dangered some animal homes and had done things that i can't even mention. he wasn't some wildlife saver, he was a killer. let life run its course, let animals die if they need to, let wildlife be wild.
  • YES I will..I am not Australian but I liked watching his programmes and I miss him.
