Thanks to all of you who so unselfishly give of yourselves to ensure that our freedoms are protected from those who would want to harm us. I can never thank you all enough for what you do for us.

A word of Thanks to all of my fellow brothers and sisters in arms, both past and present. To those of us who have shed our sweat, our tears, and our blood. We've given unselfishly of ourselves in place of those who could not, and even those who would not. We have given physically, mentally and emotionally. We have been loved and hated, praised and despised, but yet we marched forward. We have traveled to places that few people get to, and have witnessed things that no one should have to. We have witnessed some of the worst atrocities that humans can inflict upon one another, yet in the midst, we have also witnessed some of the most astounding acts of love and compassion. We have taken lives away, and we have given lives back. We have soiled the surface of the Earth with our blood, and we have washed it clean with our tears. We have gone to the extremes of humanity; a journey in which not all of us have returned. Not all of us have died, but all of us have lived. We performed a service, not for riches, fortune, or fame, but for duty, honor and love. Our time will come and pass. We will grow old and gray. We will feel regret, remorse and sorrow. Everyone will eventually die, but WE shall never be forgotten. Our deeds and our gifts will live on. 'Brother, Sister, Sinner, Saint, Friend and Foe, am I I stand and sing the praises of life, as I stare Death in the eye He raises up his mighty sword, as His hunger must be fed But as He delivers His killing blow, there is one final word to be said You may make take my life and curse my name You may greatly increase my fear But as I breathe this one last breath My dying words you'll hear' "I WILL DIE ON MY FEET BEFORE I LIVE ON MY KNEES!" A heartfelt Thanks, from: SFC Kioga Brandon Hunter US Army Military Police Corps
