A previous question was "do you consider yourself normal" The majority was proud to say no. Yet I know many people who strive to be normal to fit in etc.. could it be the "normal" want to be abnormal , and the abnormal want to be normal?

I'de have to agree with you. Most people want to be normal while maintaining indaviduality. I'm sure when someone is asked if they are 'normal', they will respond as if being asked 'are you predictable'...and that's a big sociological nono!

I think it's that people who are labeled abnormal want to be labeled normal, and people who are labeled normal want to be labeled unique. Really, everyone is exactly the same- unique.
