I named my first daughter Carina, which means Beloved in Latin and Pure in Greek. It also can mean keel or beautiful. We're still debating a second girl name - I like Lydia, but I know a girl with that name after whom I would not name anyone, so it's out, even though it's a nice name.

i like the name ELYSIA (EE-LEE-SEE-AHH) it isnt a common name and i dont know what it means, i just love it and it is so pretty.

One of the names in the hopper for our daughter was Albany, along with Cheyenne. A cool trick is to hang up a map of the United States of America, then throw a dart at it, and likely is the dart will land on a place that sounds like a cool girl's name. No, our daughter isn't named Springfield.
