Are you serious when you answer questions on AB or do you answer questions with your tongue firmly planted in your cheek?

I'm a goofball so most of my answers are just an example of me being silly.

It depends on the question. If it is a serious question then I try to give a serious answer. If the question is off the wall then I get a little goofy with it.

Some of my answers are very serious but most are an attempt at humor.

I try to keep a good balance. I analyze the intent of any question and its tone. Some things you can't joke about, if I think the person asking deserves a straight answer, I'll give it.

I never plant tongue in cheek for something serious. I do answer with humor, even for serious things but I try to do both and never hurt someone or make fun of them. I can be goofy and fun when needed or when I'm in the mood but I try not to be sarcastic or caustic in my humor.

Very recently a fellow ab'er was very serious about a question she had asked and I made light of it. She taught me a thing or two about being very serious answering serious questions.

yeh i guess it depends like some have said i mean dont get me wrong i have never lied on AB but i answer some questions in a silly way but if the asker is serious i am just as serious on finding that answer hope that answered your question

it depends on the question. this is a serious question. this deserves my serious face.

... depends on the question and the asker ... some of my AB friends have a similar sense of semi-serious humor and we have ongoing jokes disguised as serious Q&As ... but usually I am mostly serious with just a hint of humor to lighten the seriousness.

Sometimes each of them, but you can guarantee that somebody will be up in arms, regardless.

I tried to answer with some one else's tongue in my cheek but it was helpful and it was down right unsanitary.

It all depends on the question. If the question is in Outside the Bag, then I will usually answer with humor. If it is a serious question, I will give a serious answer, but I always try to through some humor into an answer, unless it is just not appropriate.
