Have you ever noticed just how many duplicate questions there are on AB? I just checked for "Why is the sky blue" and came up with about 12 asking the same thing! Duplicate flags FTW!!!

It used to bother me when I'd see the same question asked over and over again in a different way by different people. I thought, 'Why not search to see if this has been asked before?' However, I think its just the nature of the site that similar questions will be asked and I now accept that it helps perpetuate the creative flow of the site...except when the questions are something like, "How ya doing today?" What I cannot stand is when the same person keeps asking the same question over and over again. Ask it, put it out there, wait for responses. Have patience.

I've noticed a whole bunch of them during spring break and other school holidays. It seems to be a lot of new users done check the similar questions that come up. I would like to see a question check that simply doesn't allow duplicates.
