It would be as long as you can afford the price of gas in long run.

sounds like fun, but the bridges & tunnels in the UK were designed with a higher roof line than ones in the states - - I suspect it would only be a very short time untill it became a "singledecker" though

Actually you will have more problems with trees and wires than with Bridges they are ususally marked well ahead of the bridge. I have Bristol bus converted to a motor home the other problem you have is insurance and if you are carrying propane you cannot go through any tunnels. even with a normal motor home you cannot go through them. if youwant more information on these buses go to www.britishbusclub.org

It would be terrific!!! We knew a couple that had one. It had sat in a horse pasture for years when they bought it, fixed it up as an RV and then went touring around. But they had to check ahead, like trucks do, for clearances. They didn't run into too many problems at all. But their bus was sooo sweet. It had a fireplace downstairs and a spiral staircase to the bedroom uptstairs. Part of top deck was left open and they had plants up there, a garden :-)

I want to do the same thing! My girlfriend and I are already mapping out what it's going to be like. Except we are going to travel the world. So exited!
