I'm planning on throwing an 80's themed party. Any ideas for decorations that are inexpensive?

80's musician posters on the wall, brightly colored or neon decorations with some sparkle and glitter, LED party lights that flash or a disco ball :)

For tables, you could dye an old sheet black, and spatter paint it with neon acrylic paint. (Usually very inexpensive at craft stores.) Try to find some Tab cola, and use Coke for its non-diet counterpart. Throw a couple rubix cubes around the area for people to try their puzzle solving ability. Throw a hand made "Electric Avenue" sign on your door. Hand out jelly bracelets and glow sticks as favors. Put a can of inexpensive aerosol hairspray in the bathroom for people to "touch-up." You could also hit the local thrift shop in search of old band tees, like Duran Duran or Wham! to make pillows or wall hangings. Good luck, should be fun! :)
