Why are people allowed to edit questions after answers have already been submitted, thus enabling them to completely change the perception of the answered question? Details in my answer.

I totally understand what you're saying here...and that's why the AB-admin only give people a 5 minute time frame to edit questions. To fix little typos and things, not to completely change the question. I've had this happen to me *quite* a few times. Theres nothing you can do. I just edit MY answer, and explain that the question changed after I answered. Its just one of those things that suck, I guess.

That has happened to me. It was not a serious question, but when it was changed, my answer made no sense. I guess I could have edited my answer, but I simply left a comment that said, "This is not the question I answered".

Good question. It is a major flaw on AB. If they are going to allow editing, it should be noted clearly that the question has been edited and the answers are not necessary responding to the question you see.
