Not that I'm aware of. Celtic superstition - "Red feathers" are symbolic of courage. Feathers are a symbol of peace and are used in many religious rituals. The American Indians are the most well known for using feathers.

No. cardinals are not associated with death. they are associated with being soul mates for life. married people could learn a valuable lesson from the cardinals. divorce court would be no more, if humans just tried to make their marriage work. cardinals have always been extremely lucky for me. i smile every time i see one.
