  • I think they would have been kicked to the curb so fast , their heads would spin - Nobody would have tolerated that nonsense back then - My thoughts
  • LMAO I like how you answered your own question. It brought a smile to my face. The new starts would not have stood a snowballs chance in hell at being able to follow the old greats of Hollywood. The older actors worked more hours for far less pay and under harsh conditions. Compared to handing millions to them today and treating them like royalty. Most of the movie markers back then would have kicked them to the curb the first time they demanded a script change.
  • First they would need a great deal more talent. Then they would have to learn how to behave in public. After that they would need to follow orders! Which brings us to the fact that they may have been kicked all the way to the city limits!
  • They couldn't cut it. With some exceptions: Jack Nicholson, Robert Deniro, and a handful of others. Today you don't have to be genuine. The stars of the past were wild but they were private. Now, we see all the craziness because it's publicized.
  • NONE of them would have made it.. they had real actors and actresses back then. Not the untalented losers of today. Hollywood has lost all it's glamour, beauty and talent.
  • Many lack the basic skills as an entertainer. They are sold for their looks and ability to memorize lines - maybe even that is not required now with the new technologies available today. Song, dance, and actings skill were the bare minimum to be a star in days long past.
  • I don't think the majority of them would have been able to survive in Hollywood 40-50 years ago.
