Probably if we don't kill ourselves first. If we don't kill ourselves off we will continue to be more global economically and I believe having the same currency would have to become a standard.

They did that in Europe, each country had different currencies and a few years back they adopted the "euro", it's now used all throughout Europe...Yes, I think we should only have one currency, whether it will work or not.......

I think currency is just like a language. Without the different types, it would be more difficult to understand as in one term in currency. Prices would change, and may have a major impact on the economy on all, regardless what currency will be used.

There is no reason a single world currency couldn't work. However, implementing a common world currency would require that nations give up monetary policy as a method for managing their national economies. It will probably a few more centuries before nationalism fades enough for this to happen.
