Adrenal surges are natural highs, though usually not caused by a good situation. Cocoa releases endorphins that causes a natural high. I used to work with a guy that got a natural high from eating chillies. He would eat a habenero and start huffing and puffing like he just took a drug. I recently (not sure why) started getting past the heat of chillies, and I know understand what he meant. Eat the hottest chillie you can stand, and breath deeply. There is no actual pain. Jalepenos just taste like grass to me now.
