I am reminded of the parable of the frog and the scorpion... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Scorpion_and_the_Frog I don't think Bush owes the American People an apology for being who he is. I think the American People owe themselves and the world an apology for either A) Not paying enough attention to who Bush is or B) Knowing who he is and voting for him anyway.
