  • hellifiknow.. bout 15% i think, if not, then there will be more and more growing in the US... 'cauise hemp is too good a cash crop to ignore! and since a good hemp plant is just not a good smoking plant... it will be easier and easier to get the license to grow it...
  • I was under the impression it was illegal to grow hemp in the states because it was lumped under marijuana, in which case it'd be 100 percent or almost that much.

  • Its close to 90% There 4 major industrial hemp farms in the United States. It is not grown as a cash crop every year, it is rotated through to cleanse the soil. To grow hemp you are required to buy a 2500$ license from the DEA and then you are required to submit seed, cuttings and a soil sample to them for analysis. The demand for hempen goods is not that high, so most farmers will not go through the hassle.
