  • I have made some Russian food. We made Russian beef stew, perogies, and apple fritters. Yes, we managed to cook a Russian meal without potatoes, beets, cabbage, or vodka. It was alright. I have cooked food from a few dozen counties and would rate my experiences with it subpar. I'm not saying that my experiences are representative of all of Russian food, however.
