Do you prefer to be invited to the whole day of a Wedding or just the reception in the evening?

Depends who it is. If it's some I really care about then I won't mind being part of the whole day, as I can chat to lots of people I know (and get up to all sorts of mischief) =P Otherwise, I would rather they confined my invitation to the drinking, dancing and socialising parts. Otherwise, it's just boring. There's definately something about seeing two people in love, but if you don't know them well, it definately gets tiresome after hours and hours.

I just got an invitation from my cousin for her reception but not the wedding! That kind of hurt. I guess it depends how close you are to the person, but if they want to invite me (cause you know they just want a gift) then I think it should be an open invitation for both.

I would rather go to just the wedding. The only part of the reception I like is the cake.
