  • If your Hard drive was preloaded with OE from another machine or setup then your OE setting may not be getting the correct information. Try un-installing and re-installing. START - SETTINGS - CONTROL PANEL - ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS - ADD REMOVE WINDOWS COMPONENTS (left side of window) - OUTLOOK EXPRESS, uncheck Outlook Express and accept, then re-check Outlook Express and accept. Doing this MAY remove any and all of your OE preferences.
  • It could be that the hard drive has multiple partitions and the OS got installed on a small one... When you look at your Free Disk space (Right Click your Hard Drive and go to Properties), is it showing a lot of free space?
