Guys and gals, what are your thoughts on acrylic nails? Are they attractive? Too expensive?

You left out "unnecessary". What's wrong with simple good grooming?

I think they're too artificial looking (and sometimes downright trashy)... even the best ones don't look that good and I hate the way they grow out. I keep my nails semi short and natural.

I am not particularly fond of he look...I prefer natural.

I like em. I dont have them all the time, I think they're too pricey for that. But for special occasions, I'll get em done.

I like how they look, but only how they look, not how they feel. I think they can be attractive if they are subtle, like short peach/white, not superlong and crazily colored.
