After the tulip flowers let the leaves grow thats important for the plant only when the leaves turn brown dig up and seperate

It's best to let the plant go through it's whole cycle and let the leaves die down to nothing. Then you can dig them up and separate them and replant them immediately or dig them up in the fall and replant then.
