If you see a question that makes you want to get on your soap box, but you know people won't listen to you, do you reply anyway or do you try to let it go and go on to more pleasant conversations?

I reply anyway, just like I argue with people I know I won't convince to see my way in real life as well. At least I tried, which is better than nothing in my mind.

It all depends on how passionate I feel towards the subject. Sometimes I don't feel like debating someone whose just going to insult me because I don't agree with them. And, even though we all sit behind the annonymity of our computer screen, it doesn't protect you from the hurtful things people say. I've seen alot of people being offended by certain comments made here and most of them were unprovoked.

i carry my soapbox around with me and never miss an oppourtunity to get up on it. pleasant converation is pleasant enough i guess...but the soapbox is more fun.

Nope, only with the subject of climate change... they annoy me no end and I let it go. Perhaps I will answer, but I definitely won't get on my soap box like I do with other questions.
