I'd probably pick Ash from the Evil Dead series.

It would be a toss up between Leonardo DiCaprio as Danny Archer in Blood Diamond or Bruce Willis as John McClane in any of the Die Hard movies. Then again Jessica Alba was pretty tough in Dark Angel.
