  • To be honest, my mom is the only one I ever really speak to.
  • when we moved to the midwest when I was a toddler, we moved hundreds of miles away from grandparents, aunts/uncles, cousins, etc. I used to see grandparents every year (they are all passed away now), but don't see aunts/uncles and cousins often. There are a few that I email, though. My father passed away in '91. I live only 20 minutes from my mom and we see each other/talk to each other regularly. I own a duplex with my brother, and he lives upstairs (built in lawn boy...LOL!) from me and my partner. My mom is remarried, and my stepdad is an alright guy most of the time. I see my step-sister and step-nieces fairly regularly, but haven't seen my step-brother in a few years. I really don't have anything in common with him. Does anyone have "blended" families (parent remarried to someone who has kids) that they get along with really well?
  • The reverse! I'm actually close to my one and only sibling (sister). I seldom see my other relatives like cousins, aunts and uncles.
