You have a cake in the shape of a circle, you have to cut it into 8 equal pieces; how do you do it?

Shape does not matter? if so I don't see why you could not just cut it in half. Then each half again so you have 4 pieces then cut those each in half and you will have 8 equal slices of cake.

Cut a line down the center of the cake vertically, down the center of the cake horizontally, down the center of the cake diagonally from top left to lower right, down the center of the cake horizontally from upper right to lower left.

Cut in half then put them on top, cut in half again then stack them again and then cut again :o)

Cut it into two halfs, then half each half, then half each fourth.

Cut the cake in half horizontally so you have 2 cakes....then cut both halves into quarters
