That depends on which lottery ... and which type of lottery ... For the instant scratch & win type, the odds are 1 in what ever number were produced. For the lottos that pick a few numbers out of a bunch of numbers, the odds are calculated using the formula of "P choose C" ... where P = the amount of numbers you are allowed to choose and C = the amount of numbers you are allowed to choose from.

My odds are none, because I don't play, but if you are asking about picking numbers it depends if the first selection reduces the total selection pool. For instance, a one number pick out of fifty numbers would be 50 to one. Picking two out of those same 50 would be 50 X 49 or one in 2450, three out of those 50 would be 50 x 49 x 48 or one in 117600...and so on. However, if it is like the daily lotto where you have to pick 3 numbers from one to ten and the selection is from 10 numbers each time the odds are 10 x 10 x 10 or one in a thousand.
