I've read that there is only a 2% genetic difference between humans and chimpanzees so it must be less.In doing a little research to try to more fully answer your question I found some truly disturbing information take a look at http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2005/01/0125_050125_chimeras.html let me know what you think
