  • Some what yes, but there are hypicrites in all walks of life that try to use 'God' to justify or back up what they are doing. Such as GWB & David Curish(the loony from Waco TX) but I think common sense has to come to light when you hear their nonsense they are trying to force upon you. Just because they say it & bring Gods name into it don't mean you have to respond & take action. But you have a good point & I see what your trying to say.
  • Believing in God is a personal choice; not everyone makes that choice or shares the same beliefs. Therefore believing in a higher entity or God is not synonymous to everyone, this would be a one-sided or biased practice.
  • In all cases their actions should be balanced against scripture. Scripture says "...all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God", so put your faith in God, and scripture, not in men.
  • I certainly agree.
  • I agree but I can't help but think this is a veiled reference to President Bush. I personally amd getting sick and tired of seeing all the Bush bashing that's been going on. If he's done such a crappy job why haven't all of you who criticize him so easily gotten off your butts and written to your representatives demanding that he be brought up on charges for all of the things he has allegedly did. I don't recall hearing or seeing anywhere is the media that there has been a large outpouring of support from the citizens in reference to him being impeached. I would be the last person to deny anyone their constitutional right to criticize the administration. I have done so myself on a few occasions. Just because I support President Bush doesn't mean I do so blindly and think he is right about everything. I just think that if you are so unhappy with the job he is doing you would do more than just bitch and moan about it. That is just my opinion though
  • I agree, Bush said God told him to go to war with Iraq, and look where we are now, country is in ruin(I think the christians are trying to take over other religions again)
  • Agree. I do not beleive in any gods but, I always wonder who people like this think they are presuming to speak for their god? Since they can not possibly know what their god may think of what they do how can they speak for him? I would of thought that would be considered a sin.
  • Consider the words of the foremost military genius of all time: Sun Tzu - "All wars are won in the temples before they are ever fought on the battlefield." The statement "God is on our side" is one in the same with "Right is on are side" (or if you prefer, "We are on the side of Right") Anyone who wages war for any other reason is ipso-facto in the wrong. Also, the mass of men, real flesh-and-blood men, the men who actually fight the wars, won't fight, kill, suffer, sacrifice, and die for something they aren't convinced is a just cause. Claiming and believing to be fighting a just war is essential to victory - and almost as essential as actually BEING in the right. So, the issue isn't whether or not one claims God is on their side: the question is "Is it true?"
