Wht, after all the story has been told, would JK Rowling say that Dumbledore is gay?

She has obviously always had a strong image of the Hogwarts world in her mind, and Dumbledore would have been part of that. The books are all written from Harry Potter's point of view, and Dumbledore kept his sexuality out of school life as any teacher should. There was therefore simply no reason for HP to know about the sexuality of any of his teachers, and hence not for the readers to know either. But in JKR's head, she had filled out the scene, and some of that is coming out now.

I thought she was smart, now I think she is LUCKY, Lucky that she successfully hid her lack of intelligence before the book series was done. If she had come out with this information after the first book, then the amount of sales would have been hurt. And Now that the series is over, she can make up all the "stuff" she wants, and people will ask, WTF?? that is like coming out with other characters in series that are gay. that have no evidence to back it up. gust some after thought that might make some gay person happy. Bert, Ernie, Andy Taylor, Opie Taylor, Ellen, Alice Hyatt, Rudith Lillian "Rudy" Huxtable, Xandir P. Wifflebottom , Lois Whelan, Carl Kanisky, Julie White you know if any of these characters were outed, would it matter, and could it be substantiated?? Once a series is over, can the creator decide to go back and tell us something that they just made up? on the cuff to pander to one group? sick sad world...

That is a clever marketing trick on her part to get even more people to watch and read the series since she has built intrigue into the whole Hogwarts institution. Now there is doubt and more wonderment about the whole series due to this twist that Rowling has added.
