Let me tell you something...and I might have had a few drinks so I'm feeling a little tipsy. So read this with caution. Okay...let me tell you something. I feel really weird about the whole going back to school thing. Mostly because I've done it already, and now I'm going back to start all over. I mean, when I first went I was young and worked through it all finally finished a year ago. But this time it's different because I know what to expect, and I know it's not going to be the same. The first time it was all about having a good time, going to parties and getting drunk...whatever. But this time it's going to be all seirous like, because I need to do this. I need to start a new career. A new career I know I can be good at. Designing used to be something I was good at. I could design anything, and I loved it. But now things have changed. I'm different...I'm a new person. I've got my foot wet in the designing industry and I just don't like who I became. The people are stuck up...

I got treated like shit and was expected to show up at work everyday, and impress my bosses with something amazing. But I lost that passion, I lost any motivation I once had. When I was a kid, I used to draw all the time and I drew for me. Not for anybody else, just for me. Because I loved drawing. I loved creating something that I imagined from my own mind. And skethcing it on paper. I was pleased with that, and that's why I loved it. I drew everything, from characters to clothing. I did it all. But then once I was hired for my last job, I wasn't drawing for myself anymore...it was for them. And I didn't have the freedom that I had when I was a child. I felt like a prisoner in my office, and the only direction I had was them telling what to design. My personal taste was much difference than theirs...

...and it just led to my unsatisgaction with the whole industry. I learned the hard way, that childhood dreams are much different than reality. Maybe one day I'll start my own firm. Maybe...one day. But for now, I need to do this. I need to go back to school for my second favorite passion. Which is health and fitness. I like helping people, that's the kind of person I am. I couldn't stand the fact that at my last job I wasn't helping people who needed help...I only helped the rich people get richer. I like being the person someone can count on. I don't know why. Being a physical therapist would allow me to help a disabled person, or someone who is physically impaired to become the person they can be. I can help them do that. So, being laid off is truly a blessing in disguise for me. I knew that designing wasn't my true calling. I was meant for so much more. I know I am. I can do better. I can be a difference in someone's life.

Sure, I may have some talent with designing and all of that. I know I'm a talented individual, I can't lie about that. I'm talented with music, and one day I'll let you hear some of my stuff. I have a good ear when it comes to music. God, I shouldn't be here right now, in Columbus fucking Ohio. I should be traveling the world. But I was lazy, and I didn't work hard enough. But I am now. I'm going to work as hard as ever to get what I want. Because I don't want to be here in two years from now. Two years from now, I expect to be somewhere far from here. And aha, oh shit. I just wrote a lot, I'm sorry. I don't know what I'm doing. I just had a friend come over and we had a few drinks and I do what I usually when I'm drunk. And that's talk. So, I'm sorry. And then you'll be more organized mentally (erm, hopefully anyway) and you'll be able to sort through it all one step at a time. Take a deep breath. You can do it. You have time still to decide what you want to do. Like I said, a lot of people don't even know what they want to do after two years of university.
