i think they would go mad...don't you?

That would be horrific. I think they would want to die.

Great book in that thought. "Johnny Got His Gun" by Dalton Trumbo. It's about a soldier in World War I, that had his arms and legs blown off, lost most of his face and could not see, hear, or speak. The story is about him lying in a hospital bed trying to figure out how to communicate, and he was going insane. Great book! Rather depressing, but a great book none the less. He finally figures out how to communicate to a nurse by tapping his head in morse code, and she taps his chest in morse code back. I won't give away the ending. It's a must read, and based on current events, should be mandatory reading.

If he was born with that handicap, with some help he would be able to live in his own world with content.

In my younger days I would say "That's the President" (President Johnson). But then I realized that would be insulting blind, deaf, mute and unfeeling people.

His parents would name George W. Bush...oh, no, wait, that one can bable...

If s/he were born that way, I would imagine that s/he wouldn't know any different and that it wouldn't bother him/her. Now if a person became blind, deaf, mute, and unable to feel sometime during his/her lifetime after knowing what it was like to have all of those senses...Yeah I would definitely go crazy and end up finding some sort of way to kill myself.

at least they could still taste...glass half full or 20 percent for that matter
