Beeping Computer Syndrome. You have a Smit-Fraud infection. First go to your safe mode after you hit the power button tap F8 a few times when the next screen appears use your arrow buttons and move to Safe Mode. (mouse won't work now) Don't click on System Restore but continue clicking on the Safe Mode until it appears. You'll know as you only have limited icons on your desktop. Next go to control panel> user accounts> click on change password. Leave password blank for now. You won't need one for what we are gonna do. While in the Safe Mode run your antivirus program, your spyware programs and your disk defragger. Now comes the tricky part. Leave your computer on in the safe mode while all these are running and grab a blank CD disk, go to a friends house and get on their computer (with their permission). Go to www.pchell.com and download into a seperate folder,(SmitFraud Fix, SmitRem< and Easy Cleaner). Now using your friends CD burner burn these programs to the Blank Disk. Return home and everything should be done running by now if not wait till they are and close all open programs. Now insert your disk and copy those new programs to your desktop and run them one at a time saving easy Cleaner for last. This should remove all traces of Smit-Fraud from your computer as well as any Rouge Registry Key's it produced. I hope everything turns out well for you. If your CD burner doesn't work in the safe mode reboot and let Windows load normally hopefully you won't need a password this time and from your desktop run those programs from your desktop.
