I'm Canadian, but I'll give my input too, if that's ok! Before I had benefits through my work, my pills were about $22-$25 a pack (for one month). With my work benefits, I pay about $4 a pack. You have to keep in mind, my work benefits cost me about $60 a month...so I'm really paying about $64 for birth control. Which I didn't realize until I answered this question! I think it's time to cancel my benefits. Haha.

You already asked this question in a slightly different form. Try not to repeat yourself.

I dont take the pill..i dont like the idea of taking artificial hormones..and i'm a smoker over 35..so no go for me! i do know, however, that if you have a planned parenthood in your area you can get birthcontrol pills either at no cost or a sliding scale fee that suits your income!
-
I never paid for the pill, as I was only on it in my late teens and it was covered by Family Planning. I was on Depo shots for many years, and they were covered by my insurance.

plan parent hood works with you. depending on your income. some pills, like those advertised may cost. but you can get some free of charge. if your covered by insurance your insurance company will pay a portion or full cost for for you. If not, there are some organizations that give away free condoms.

-
I pay about $10 a month. Its called Kariva.
-
Whoa. Seriously, come to England. Way cheaper. Cheaper, as in, free. I can't believe you have to pay for birth control, that seems somewhat unfair =(
-
I pay $45 a month AFTER insurance pays their part.
-
if you dont make alot of money you can go to the health dept and get free birth control however you have to make less than like 30000 a year in Mississippi at least) if you make more and dont have insurance it is any where between 45-60 dollars per month with insurance it is between 5 (for generic) - 45 dollars per month thats WITH insurance and thats just the pill form im not sure about the other types i dont take those.
-
5 dollar co-pay for three packs... so about $1.67 per pack! But it's generic brand(Kariva),and under my dad's insurance, which must be pretty good because I don't know anyone else that gets it for that cheap.
-
It's basically covered by insurance, I just pay a 5 dollar co-pay every time I get it refilled, and they give me three packs. So I pay about 1.67 per month, which is really good here, because I don't know anyone else who gets it that cheap.
-
I paid $40 a month after insurance. That didn't last long. Now I'm having a baby! ^_^ (planned. I promise. Planned)
