What do you mean by this question?

It is a great place to meet people and exchange ideas..it is only as good as the people who participate..some days we have a few "meanies", which makes it tough on some of us..other days everyone seems to be in a great mood and we all get along well with one another. What we have now I think is a great forum..but the potential is even greater as people learn how to interact politely and focus on the communication rather than earning points or "judging" others! :)

It's not important enough for me to have a philosophical approach to it - I come on, answer a few questions, read and reply to a few comments and leave. It's just conversation.

My philosophy about AB is that it is as much or as little as I allow it to be.

Answer well, ask questions that may help someone else. Be as courteous to members as you would in the 'real world'

I cannot say I have a philosophy. I believe that is nicer to be nice than nasty but I still like to make my opinions plain as long as they are not hurting people. I also wish there was a little more knowledge content the way there used to be. It has become very lightweight and much more just a social site, although i really enjoy the comment threads.

Do not take it too seriously. It is a website and, if I become annoyed, I can turn off the computer or go to another website. I like to give informative answers, sometimes just screw around, ask a few times... and not get into fights. I like to think, or I just like to goof around. AB serves both purposes well. Some like to fight. Fighting just makes you look like a jerk. I have given in and argued, but rarely. Usually I let them look like idiots all by themselves by walking away. I find that the "unsubscribe from comments" feature is very helpful in my aim. I just state that I do not speak with rude people and unsubscribe.

I don't think I would call it a philosophy. I am here to meet and enjoy the company of everyone here. I am a people person and the diverse group here is very enjoyable to me.

Sometimes, you just have to make everyone in the room hate you. It's quite possibly the only way to have fun.

it makes a great conversation site you can make friends earn points speak to people from all walks of life it helps the lonely people who carn`t get out much disabled i love it.why then is it not widely known

Just be nice and it will come back around- not much of a philosophy- I just go on AB when I'm bored!

I always try to treat others here in a manner I would want to be treated in return. I have not always been successful and have managed to apologize to those I blew up at unfairly.
