We don't have a coffee table..the only book we have out all the time, (and it is on top of a small cabinet in the living room), is Webster's Unabridged Dictionary..it is very heavy..both Jim and I are constantly looking up the precise meaning of words, or the preferred spelling! :)

I do, it's on Walden Pond and has the most gorgeous photos. http://www.amazon.com/Walden-Anniversary-Illustrated-American-Classic/dp/0618457178/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2/002-6534828-8952026?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1192805763&sr=8-2

I bought Steven Hawking's book about the big bang, and I accidentally got a huge, fully illustrated, gilt-edged Koran for free. I sent for a free copy to figure out what all the fuss was about. I'm guessing that this thing is worth $300-400. I can only imagine how much profit the Arabs are making from the oil and gas we buy from them if they can afford to give THAT away! It's actually too pretty to use!

Nope, but I often give them as gifts
