The State of Louisiana is considering a bill to provide for the death penalty for second offender child molesters. I think it is an excellent idea and hope my state will follow suit.

Depends on the person.
If they were sexually abused as children and that was never addressed then lets try to rehabilitate them.
Killing them will not take the crime back.
The first reaction for a victim or the victims family would be to kill the offender though.
And if they are a repeated offender then I would say allow them to live in a manner in which they suffer everyday.
Way more punishing than death.

Life in prison. Sex offenders are treated like scum in prison. They odds of them being raped are extremely high. Give them a taste of their own medicine I suppose.

i dont think they should just be killed off thats far to easy for them coming from someone that has been sexually abused herself as a child. i beleive they should be made to suffer although i can never quite come up with something suitable i mean prison is a ball for them and costs everyone else money to look after them when we dont want to, the person i sent to prison had roast dinners, tv, got to play pool all day, earn a bit of money inside for when he was released get some qualification and get housed when he came out hardly a punishment he loved it. maybe someting a long the lines of a really tough prison i read something about russia being quite notorious and scary in there prisons most of them are skin and bone and shower once a week maybe they should be shipped off thereis one idea....

If anyone rapes someone against their will, that is just bad and wrong and the should be punished. 18 yrs ago this guy was put in jail for his crimes. Not far at all from where I live.

Harcore sex offenders should just be locked up! most offenders in the u.k get sentenced to a 15 year minimum spell. no questions asked. The mere prospect of being 40 something man being attracted to a 12 year old, and then abusing her, is sickening! :-(
and 2- if your 17 and your girl is 15, thats completely ok, as long as you don't have sex till your 16. over here, british law states the age of consent as 16. but if its just a relationship, and this should be emraced as love, and not ridiculed! :-)

I like the 2nd offender - death penalty answer...
But for first time offenders - permanent parole status in halfway houses with other sex offenders. Permits to work or to leave the halfway house for any other reason. No internet, no phones, supervised guests only. --- or a voluntary prefrontal lobotomy.
Offenders who have been castrated have still been known to molest.

A bullet to the head. There's no point in us having to pay our taxes to keep them alive, and a bullet is the cheapest way to get rid of them. Or a knife, now that I think about it.
I'm a minor and was a victim of robbery/assault. My parents were issued a courtdate, will i need to go if i make a victim impact statement?

There probably won't be a death penalty in 20 years. The death penalty is being slowly abolished as we speak. That makes me happy :) I will jump in joy the day the US sacks the death penalty.
