If the ice cream is of excellent quality, why would you want to mask the taste of it with something as artificial as a Maraschino Cherry? Have you ever read the label? I thought not! :) Now, if you are talking about a natural cherry which hasn't been manipulated or dyed or made icky sweet, then I'd be glad to accept one..if not, if it's just the dyed bright red metallic tasting cherry, I'll pass! :)

I hate cherries! Yuck! But I usually get them to give to hubby, he likes them and I'm just sweet like that!

It helps give anything they adorn a classy touch. Those Maraschino cherries give your mixed drink that extra touch as well.

There's something about having a cherry on top that seems to finish off the picture. If it isn't there, it just doesn't seem complete. That said, I don't eat the cherry though =)
