No, except for flashes of lightning, fires, the auroras, a few pockets of glowing lava or swamp gas, and all the man-made sources of light. From space we directly observe how dark the earth looks when it's not illuminated by (and thus reflecting light from) the sun or the moon, except for the faintly visible sources mentioned above. We also know that at virtually every location on earth, when the sun sets it gets dark.
