I think I'm allergic to pain medication. I take the meds and am fine. It's 2 days later that I get headaches. Is there anyone else that this happens to? And what do you do for pain relief?

The only way to find out if you're allergic to the medicine is to see a doctor, also, you may be prone to migraines. See a doctor to find out.

im allergic to penicillin and morphine, so ideally i try not to take ANYTHING which has these in as a base. however when i was in hospital and i was taking morphine i had to take an allergy tab before hand, like piroten. if you think you are allergic to anythin, particularly a medicine, you should go and see your doctor to work out if you really are, i dont mean to be the doom merchant here but if you continue to take something you are allergic to, it makes your airways swell and can kill. please, if you think you are allergic, stop taking them for your own health and go and see your doctor.
