You can changet he tongue barbell in two to three weeks. Very easy to do.

I put a shorter barbell in after two weeks to make it easier to eat. Even though its never been worn by anyone else, sterilize it anyway just to be safe. The only think I noticed is that its easier for me to change them if the bead on the bottom unscrews. That way you put it in from the top. If the top unscrews I found it to be harder because I had trouble finding the hole from the bottom. Good luck!

i waited like a week and a half. i was scared, but it was surprisingly easy. just be careful to screw the balls on tightly. i've swallowed 2 balls because of that. hahaha, no pun intended. ;]]
