Obviously you've never seen The Night of the Living Dead. :P Honestly... I'm quite comfortable in cemetaries even at night. You're right... I'm more uneasy in crowds of the living than I am surrounded by tombstones.

speaking for myself, i am afraid of death. not necessarily of those i have lost, of the dead, but of death itself. but i am also afraid of the living, especially in crowds, in great numbers. so there you go, i'm afraid of both.

The Man, I think the same thing all the time. That is why I would never go into a cemetery after dark, it the living people hanging out there that I would fear.

Because graveyards bring the fact of one's own mortality too close to home. Mortality is a subject that a lot of people want to avoid, because they think by avoiding it, it won't happen to them. But it is inevitable. Good question +

I have always loved walking around graveyards. I love to read the really old stones.
