I read about this eager-to-please young minister who knew that the ruling dowager in his church just doted on her cat. So he brought a paper of catnip with him, and put it in front of the cat, which took a huge sniff and rolled over dead. Allergic or something. I don't remember what happened to the minister. Probably sought other employment.
