  • Because they believe that all the alternatives to capitalism were even worse. Can you find an alternative to capitalism that is doing a better job? And is it the system that makes it work or is it the people making the system work? (I am not 100% pro - capitalist. I believe that any of the available systems would need modifying and wouldn't work 'purely'.)
  • Beijing Emma, why not post about the "genocide (millions+)" the communists like you did to their own people? Why do you pursue on spreading your communist BS, everyone here knows that you hate capitalism and all democratic societies like the United States. You must be on the low end of your Marxist propaganda machine if you have to bring your game to a small website like this, but I guess this is your propaganda assignment, what do they do give you a extra handful of rice for doing this?....Emma=Tokyo Rose reborn on AB as a communist propagandist!.....
  • I'm American, I don't believe Capitalism is good.
  • I don't think that that genocide was pure capitalism (nor, in fact, were any other that I can call to mind). I think it was pure greed. Capitalism is greed controlled by the marketplace. It has checks and balances built into it: deals must be by consent. The expansion into America, as most other examples of colonialism, were simple land grabs without justification. The core of capitalism is buying and selling - and no-one attempted to buy the land of the Native Americans, they just took it.
  • Slavery and genocide have nothing to do with capitalism and everything to do with Imperialism...
  • Every nation and culture in history practiced slavery, so why are you trying to blame capitalism? For that matter, if you want to look at big-time slavery, you don't have to look any farther than Communist China. And if you want to look at the mass murder of innocent people, China is the all-time record holder.
