It's possible those long orgasims are causing muscle spasms.

I've experienced this before too. It's kinda sorta like intense period cramps, right? Sorry, I don't know what it is, or why it happens then, but nothing has ever come from it. I mean, I've never started my period, after having this pain - which is what it feels like, it's never lasted longer than a few minutes, and it doesn't happen with each orgasm either - only sometimes, with or without a partner. I know this isn't an answer. I just wanted you to know you're not alone. This could be common issue, that women just don't talk about . . . Like all the other issues regarding sex, masturbation, and orgasms. Lucky you (and me!) at least we know how to "do it" for ourselves, which makes it so much more fun to share!

easy. you have B.O.S. Bursting Orgasm Syndrome. I Used to have that too. I actually went to a sex counselor for it, and they told me to do this-(and it really works!) ok. before you masturbate, take a hose type thing, (or like the one at a sink) and BLAST warm water into vaginal area. AS HARD AS YOU CAN! then, mix together Salt and water for about a min. then spread you legs open really wide and pour half of the mix it into vagina/urethra. Let it settle for about 1 min. Then stick your fingers in vagina as far as you can reach and rub yourself for about 2 min. and last pour in the rest of the salt water. This helps me everytime! i haven't gotten bad cramps from masturbating for 2 years1

I think maybe the long orgasms cause cramping. I would try exercising the muscles of you vagina regularly. I believe they are called keegals. dont know if thats how its spelled though

HELLO!!! I don't know what game Juicystuff is playing with that answer, but one needs to take caution sometimes, as true injury could come from one to whom takes it. High pressure blasts of water from a hose could not only damage a woman’s sexual organs, but also cause unknown internal hemorrhaging, leading to possible death. Be responsible here, as it is a place for others helping others, not one to irresponsibly suggest an ignorant diatribe to just be funny where a serious concern is subject. Now, what you have is a condition where your muscle cramps may come due to over exertion, meaning that your extended orgasm you have is possibly straining your insides a bit. If this is a problem, It's suggested that you investigate the possibility of increasing your potassium intake. They say, that might relieve some of the muscle cramps. Bananas and potatoe's are a good natural source for you to try, or one can have their pharmacist suggest a good one for them I'm sure. I did a search on Google for "female cramps after orgasm" and I then found at WebMDblog the information given, under orgasm and migraines, but further down it had additional information if one were cramping as well. It can be reviewed at this URL: http://blogs.webmd.com/sexual-health-sex-matters/2006/05/orgasm-and-migraines.html In addition, I am placing below the URL tag unto the Google search inquiry I made, so all you have to do is click on it, and it will have all the sites giving information unto your most understood concern. URL: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=female+cramps+after+orgasm I hope you do find relief, as it truly is a shame that one might become apprehensive in doing something so incredible pleasurable to them, for not wanting to deal with the aftermath. It's a shame one couldn’t teach the technique in a fashion to where it wasn't compromising to you, as any woman I were to want to please would surly believe I was superman to give her a 2 minute orgasm! be well, good luck, and peace!

I agree with the kegel suggestion. Try some exercises where you tense and hold, then relax the muscles in your vagina. See here for more information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kegel_exercise Maybe some abdominal strengthening as well. It's probably muscle strain. If it continues and it is distractive then you should see your gynecologist about it.

It's because you're doing this by yourself. Seriously. I'm a guy, but I've masturbated for my own pleasure and tried to see if I could give myself a really intense orgasm and the same exact thing happened to me. It's like all the muscles in my lower abdomen tensed and there was this intense pain like ripping or tearing or something to that effect and it just sort of radiated around my body in that region. This never happened once though when I would have sex with a woman. It's probably just intense muscle contractions, but it is from having sex alone.
