Do you think the quality of television has gotten worse in the last ten years? I think everything went down hill since reality tv.

Ten yeras ago I did not think that it could get worse. Now I do not even bother putting it on other than to watch England beat Australia at Rugby!

Yes. But it was really crappy even before then. For most of my adult life I haven't had a TV. I would like a nice big one - just to watch videos on. I have had TV for a little while but I hardly ever watched it. Too many more important things to do. I can watch DVDs on my computer (21 inch monitor) if I want to.

I think that the producers have gotten lazy. they used to write TV shows with a plot and scenes. even the old batman TV series at least had dialog. but when they had the writers strike about 20 years ago, one of the networks bought the reality show "cops" it didn't need actors or a written script, and it was cheap to produce. so everybody want to have a cheap show that makes lots of money now.
